Michael Herbert book’s tells the dramatic stories of Manchester’s radical women, who dared to challenge the status quo and campaigned for radical political and social change between 1819 and 1918. There are chapters on Peterloo, trade unionism, Chartism, Socialism and the long campaign waged by women to achieve “Votes for Women”.

The book has 64 pages, and many illustrations.
